The central government is switching to electric transport. To achieve this, a large number of charging points are needed at its government buildings. The Central Government Real Estate Agency (Rijksvastgoedbedrijf) has concluded two contracts for the placement of around 2,000 charging points, one of the largest contracts in the world for charging points on an organization’s own site.
On 16 January, the Central Government Real Estate Agency signed an agreement with the companies that will install the charging points, including ENGIE in collaboration with Last Mile Solutions. ENGIE will take care of installing, managing and monitoring the charging points and Last Mile Solutions will look after the back office.
